Description

Female, 35 here. I'm in the Gunks every weekend. This is my second season leading. I lead up to .7 in the Gunks and follow .9s. Have a rack, ropes. I'd like to find a partner who leads .9 and up levels, so we could swap leads and I can save .7s and .8s for onsights. Am also open for trips up to ADK, NH and VT.

This summer, I would like to go out West and climb some alpine moderate routes either in Tetons/Winds or Northern Cascades. I'm proficient with rope management, self rescue, am very efficient at belay transitions and a big believer in moving fast in the mountains. I'm also pretty good at route finding. I'd like to find a partner with similar attributes, age gender not important, but sense a humor is a MUST. Appreciation of good scotch, cognac or microbrews is a plus. Local partner preferred so we can climb in the Gunks first and practice self-rescue and stuff together before heading out to the mountains.
