Anyone interested in the Gran Paradiso NW Face Route? I mus say that I am much more skilled on rock that I am on ice but I have some experience in the Sierra Nevada Gulley routes in the United States and also some Waterfall ice in Utah. I am interested in doing the NW face of Gran Paradisio after stumbling upon a route description while searching for the regular route.
I live in Italy now (near La Spezia) so I am pretty flexible on timing but I think that the season is coming to a close at some time soon.
