Climbs and adventurous trekking in Patagonia

Hi there.

I have up to 3 weeks holiday in January/ Feb 2011, from around the 19th Jan to around the 13th Feb. I am hoping to base myself in El Chalten and looking to do some of the "easier" climbs or some of the more adventurous treks, such as onto the Ice Cap and some of the more straightforward summits that can be achieved on this classic trek. (Trek seems like such a benign word for something that is more like a 10 day expedition!)

This would be my 1st visit here, but I have extensive alpine climbing experience. I am open to options and ideas. A look at my profile will give you a flavour.

I am also considering hiring a Guide for some more technical stuff, so there is also the option of splitting the cost there.
