North ridge
From 'Sella dei Grilli' some persistent snowfields with gaping moats. Short but very diverting scramble on the north ridge and, from the summit, further towards the peak of Cima Giovanni Paolo II.
As with all our trips in Gran Sasso at 13:00 we always had a storm. Fortunately we got back to the cable car station at that time. But in the morning views were great , but on the summit it got worse and we didn't see a thing there. Trip was pleasant , not many people on the way , most of them probably went to Corno Grande.
