"Shorter trip"Vid, you wrote me that perhaps you would find some time for a shorter trip this weekend. Going to Piz Boé is a shorter trip? It must have taken the whole day!
Cheers, Szani

CorrectionMy mistake: I just noticed that it was the 11th August and not the 11th September. Perhaps on the 11th September you really did a shorter trip...

Re: CorrectionYes, Szani, the pictures (and pages) I'm recently posting are from our August trip to Dolomites. Despite my knee injury and Jasmina's back pains we were walking 10-12 hours, doing a nice multi-day trek.
This weekend it was hazy, not with so nice visibility in mountains. But we did a short half day walk. This picture is the recent one:

And how was your trip? Did you manage to find a nice place to set up a tent?
Cheers!

Re: CorrectionI am sorry to hear about your knee injury and Jasmina's back pain. Walking is generally a good treatment for back pain. I think that for knee injury it is not so good. But good to see that you were again out. I checked the location of this picture. We were just in 20 km distance on that day from each other. Our small team visited Ferlacher Horn on Saturday, and Storzic on Sunday. Everything was as I planned - except for the disappointing bad visibility. I found a place for the tents near Podbrezje, in a small forest closed by the highway to Jesenice, the highway to Trzic and the old road to Trzic. It was noisy, but at least it had minimal chance for getting into conflict with any farmer. So finally it was an appropriate spot
