"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

East Summit sideUp the East Summit, down the West, and for thirty minutes I sweat freely. This mountain is surely the best scrambling for many miles in any direction.

Beautiful viewI climbed the East (harder) trail. It was a beautiful, clear day. Trail simple to follow, difficult enough to feel accomplished!

Rock Climbing on Pinnacle Mountain, ARJim M. and I climbed several feet of easy (4th-5.5) rock ribs on the East Ridge, traversed over to the South Face on a neat little ledge system, then climbed straight up a left facing dihedral crack (5.4) to the slabs under the summit.

Perfect Family HikeWhat a great place to take the family hiking - a real reward when you get to the top. Cool rocks to scramble on; great views in every direction. We loved it.
