Nice

"I seemed to be suffering from tunnel vision focused only on our safety up and down the ridge"

Man, have I been there, only to look back afterwards realizing that it was one of the best climbs of my life. Sounds like a good time!

Great photos

That terrain is astounding. Sorry to hear the weather got in the way a bit, and the glacier conditions were a bit suspect. Sounds like you had a good attitude and made the best of it. Some of your summit shots with the clouds are incredible.

correction...

it must not be the Mormons...SouthPark must have it wrong...."Mormon Joe" and I left the day you saw us (by the way, no reference to the old man with a large sheepskin padded pack running by all the youngsters on the way in?)...Mormon Joe got to Sisyphus Summits with me during one good day of weather that week...it was "Atheists Peter" from San Fran (Peter S, not Peter V, I climb with two Peters from the Bay area) who got all the glorious sunshine...in fact he is still here, and has yet to have a rainy day in two weeks! We have been climbing 5.11 rock like madmen, hoping to slow down a bit today. Good luck with Cooper-Kor, but try to get in NE ridge of Bugaboo Spire and few strong routes on Snowpatch first mate. It is a worthy route to be sure. Cheers.

Re: correction...

I can't imagine 2 weeks of no rain in the bugaboos, how does that happen? awesome!

Awesome

A reminder as to why the bugaboos are still high on my "to visit" list. Loved the pics, good work!

Very cool!

Thanks for the report on Pigeon. We tried it Saturday after you left and found ice and snow all over the rocks. Climbing was too slow for our schedule under those conditions.

We were the party ahead of you on Thursday on Lions Way, a neat climb for relatively stormy days. Incidentally Mark had just placed the nice rappel anchor for that climb and at the base of Bugaboo Glacier that day. Very nice anchors.
