Parseierspitze (normal route)  Sucess!

Nice climb to the highest peak of Lechtal Alps. The last 200m through the south east face are quite exposed but not too difficult (mostly grade UIAA I and II, a short passage of grade II+ has a little rope to make it easier). Rock quality is medium, one should wear a helmet.

Route Climbed: via Gatschkopf Date Climbed: June 30th, 2002

On Saturday we hiked to the "Augsburger Hütte" in about 3 hours. The hut was still closed but there is a big open sleeping room.

On Sunday we hiked up to "Gatschkopf" and descended to the Patrolscharte. But there still was a steep and long snow-field from the Patrolscharte down to the "glacier". Having only hiking boots and no crampons with us, we thought it too risky and too

time-consuming to cross the snow-field.

So we returned via Gatschkopf to the hut and descended to Grins.
