"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Squaw Pass Outing5/2/10: Took the trail up Chief than traversed over Papoose to Squaw and back down the Squaw Mtn Road to my car. Also climbed a few of the other easy access peaks off the Squaw Pass Road, lots of peaks available for little effort on this road!
12/8/12: Repeat with Chief and Squaw. Also climbed PT 11060 and Warrior.

Papoose with snow on the groundI turn 50 this year and I have set a goal of summiting 50 named peaks this year that I haven't hiked before, and Papoose was the first of the year.
Thanks to the people who snowshoed up previously to mark the trail and make it so I wasn't postholing through the deep snow.
