Not very shy is it?

Nice photo! Gives me some more idea of what kind of terrain to expect for this mountain; hope to get there next summer.

Yeh, the goat almost got into a scuflle with my brother at one point. North Marron was a great climb. This photo is of the only point I would call Class 4. We climbed up it no problem, but we repeled coming down because the rocks where slick do to the light July snow fall. The route was fairly easy to find. We were going to do the North to South traverse; however, there was about half an inch of snow on top and we didn't know which way the weather was going to break. We got soaked comeing off of Pyramid the day before.

Rope eating

I have friends who rappelled into a cave in MT. When they returned to the rope to climb out, they found it in a pile at the base of the rappel. At first, they thought that vandals had untied it and thrown it down, but it turned out that a rat had chewed through the rope where it went over a small ledge about 75 feet above the bottom.

Luckily, one of the party was a skilled rock climber and they had a few pitons in their gear, so they were able to climb out.
