Product Description

This is what Wild Country has to say about these tiny bad-asses:

"These tiny units are currently our smallest offering and these diminutive versions of Rocks cover four sizes beneath a Rock One. Recently anodised to make identity easier they have also had subtle but important manufacturing improvements making them less prone to damage and improving their placement. To do this each nut is milled out at the top to allow the wires to seat properly inside the nut - rather than externally - protecting these small strands from damage and from blocking fit in tiny slots. Especially useful for the skinniest of thin cracks and seams these are essential kit for those pushing their grade and moving up to HVS/E1 or 5.8/5.9+ who will start to find themselves in more difficult territory. Those who do use them will find a whole world of useful placements open up to them and they'll always prove they're worth when the 'thank god' placement is made."

Bottom line, without all of the fancy marketing words, these are some of the tinyest nuts that will fit nicely into small cracks where other gear simply will not. I love that the head is 'inset' so that the wire does not stick out. This makes placing into tiny slots particularly easy. Obviously they are not rated to hold much more than 4kn (some less) but these tiny peices will offer great protection for short falls and comfort for the mind on otherwise run-out terrain. I love these and they place easy. A great way to finish you passive pro rack.
