Once I made it to the false...
Once I made it to the false summit (didn't know it at the time), I saw this peak that looked about the same height. Crap! So, of course I had to go bag it to make sure. Luckily, there is a faint trail that is easy to follow that only takes a couple minutes to hike to the true summit out there.
