On the traverse

This 2-3 foot wide ledge traverse almost the entire northern face of Le Conte Mountain. We followed it low all the way to a point directly below the summit notch, then climbed up a face. You can gain an upper ledge about mid-way along the ledge, which appears to be the standard route.
