I think the St. Lawrence reference is incorrect. The welland canal is the true link of the St. Lawrence between lake Ontario and lake Erie. Arguably, the St. Lawrence river starts in Minnesota, but it might more aptly begin at the end of Lake Ontario. Who knows....take my input as you will. Thanks.
