O, Marmolada, you are a queen... That is how a ladinian folk song goes. And if you observe this wonderful mountain, surrounded with dolomitic towers, and its shining glacier, you easily understand why. Especially in a such extraordinary moment as this early morning below Settsass. August 13th, 2016.

I got the inspiration for the quote in your book, as you started the chapted about Marmolada with the same words. Then I was exploring the web and found some hits (German pages), mentioning this Ladinian song. But not more information. So, there's still not everything on the web ;)
