"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

great hike! One of my all-time favorite hikes! The good trail up the scenic canyon leads to a saddle in the ridge, which is a short ways from the summit. Incredible views and exposure reward you at the summit. Give yourself at least 5 hours from the highway to make the trip.

Sawtooth Canyon S.Since I spent most of the morning hiking and exploring other nearby areas I didn't arrive at the trailhead until 4:30 p.m. I threw on a camelback and hustled up the trail reaching the summit at 6:00. Spectacular viewscape from the top. The trail was interesting as well with high canyons and a variety of fauna. From the top I saw a storm heading my way and hustled back to the truck by 7:30. I'd like to due the hike again when I have more time to enjoy all that this trail has to offer.
