Lightening Strikes More Than Twice!
We summited around 2 pm as clouds were building up around us for the past hour... Tom had asked 'what is out turn around time' as we were still an hour from the top... we went for it regardless. Well, the descent and rappels were quite exciting! Lightening was booming all around, and the rain came... we got zapped 3 times while rapping... could feel the shock go right down my spine. John was carrying our rack and standing in a small puddle when the 3rd struck... I have never seen a human jump so high... straight up like a cat. We got back to the saddle camp soaked and relieved... a party at the saddle had watched the whole show and they handed us cups of hot tea as we arrived... tasted so good!

Northeast Ridge
The approach killed me! It was a great route with amazing views of the pickets. This was my first time be in this part of the cascades and it was amazing.
