Northeast Ridge, Mt. Triumph

Looking down the Northeast Ridge of Triumph from near the 5.7 crack section. A party of two can be seen simulclimbing below - these guys were hauling a.. - apparently their original intent was to climb a 5.10+ route somewhere on the north side of the peak but poor glacier conditions did not allow the access (July 25, 2004)!!!

Nice series

You guys really are having a great year. One neat climb after another. This is as usual, another nice series of pics and captions. Well done.

Re: Nice series

Thank you very much for the good comments Dean. You also are not exactly having a "slacker climbing season" yourself :)

Re: Nice series

Well, my climbs don't come close to what you guys do and I can appreciate what you two are doing, you guys are amazing.

5 of us from 5 different states did Graywolf Ridge Peak on the Oly Peninsula this past friday and got "roasted" by the heat. It was the HP of Clallam county. 31 down, 8 to go.

Re: Nice series

Dean,

not sure how one can compare one climb vs. another - as long as one gets into the mountains, that's great already and not to mention that you just keep cranking them off (those highpoints)

:)
