Nice view

Not many good photos of this side of Whitney. These chutes make for some great skiing early in the season, just gotta make sure you don't ski off a cliff!

I'd imagine there'd be some good (extreme?) skiing- unfortunately, the only stories you hear about snow & this area seem to be when people lose control whilst glissading (coming down from the Mountaineers Route), which has led to too many fatal results...

Not really extreme, I've skied these chutes on 3-pins. Just gotta wait until the afternoon to let things soften up.
