North Dome

North Dome is the great dome opposite half Dome. The ancient Indian legend of Tissia-ak and her lover is here represented in the 2 domes; Half Dome (Tissia-ak) fell in love with her man (North Dome) and had a child (Basket Dome). Tragedy befell them however, and you can see to this day the tears of Tissia-ak as black streaks on Half Dome.
