Middle Sister

After a half day of work, Chris and I set off from Portland for the Obsidian Trailhead.
On wednesday Chris and I hiked from the Obsidian Creek Trail head to Riley Camp. It was 10:30 at night and bieng undecided on the exact route up the Col glacier, we decided to set up Camp for the night.

Waking up at 4:00 AM we broke camp and headed up to the Col. Finding the trail was difficult as the map was very vague. Hiking up was beautiful as we were in the shadow of the Sisters and this led to some great views of the Cascade Mountians and the remnants of once great peaks.
