Route Climbed: From Bilea lake, via Strunga Dracului Date Climbed: 20 August 2004
A nice hike, with the most demanding section being the ascent to / near Dracului. Several of the chains in the Strunga Dracului have become disconnected from the wall. (We climbed it with backpacks and mostly without using the chains.) This route is probably more difficult on descending. You can however choose another trail to skip this section.
On returning we used Strunga Ciobanului which is shorter. Again sections of chain are missing / disconnected.
