N Ridge of Mt Stuart

N Ridge of Mt Stuart

...seen from the Stuart Lake trail (from the N). The N ridge is the prominent ridge rising center face directly to the summit. Note: The foreground peaks are an intervening ridge (Mountaineer Ridge) which separates Mountaineer Creek from Stuart Lake and not really attached to the N Ridge [on Mt Stuart] see map. Sunrise, October '06.

Classic view of a classic mountain

Even skewed slightly from other photographs more prominently showing the Stuart Glacier and the North Ridge, this view is every bit as spectacular. Wonderful picture!
