These strange volcanic shapes are located at the southeastern end of the Roque Nublo plateau. Add a few wispy clouds and a setting sun, and this is what you get. 5 December 2013.

Mordor!

They should have used this as a location for Mt Doom.

Lol. In this light, yeah, but it didn't last very long. The sun sets quickly at these latitudes.
