Route Climbed: From Alpine Col Date Climbed: 17 Jul 2004
Hiked from McClure Meadow in Evolution Valley to Alpine Col; followed the SW Ridge to the summit and descended the SE Ridge to the Keyhole before returning to McClure Meadow.
Left base at Muriel Lake and rambled SW to Goethe Lake. Ascended to pass just to west of Muriel Peak. (Can't recall the name of this pass, Arc Pass?) Descended the other side above the large unnamed lake, then up steep chutes to summit on SW side. Killer views of Humphries and Darwin massif. Descended E ridge and face to Keyhole Pass. Encountered steep hard snow in chutes. Arrived at upper most Lost Lake to view big Golden Trout through open areas in the ice cover. Nice entertaining climb.
