Mummy
On the ridge above the scree/talus slope on the south side of the peak. Scientists say that these ancient Bristlecone pines can stand after dying for as long as a thousand years or more before falling over and in this high, dry environment, slowly disappear due to erosion from wind driven ice rather than rot away.
