Thanks Tim for the vote and comments. Mt. Timp is a great mountain with lots of room and it was fun to put this mountain up at SP.

Nice page. I'm always looking for a place to go when I finally make it out west to climb a few peaks (next year if all goes well).

Thanks for your comments. I really liked your pic where Mt. Timp looked like it was on fire. Its a great mountain, I try and visit it as often as I can even though I live in Washington state. Best regards.

Hi Dean, yes it's a wonderful mountain. I lived temporairly in Heber City/UT for almost a year. I miss the view from my bedroom to Timp (same as pic)

The view of Timp from Heber City, particularly from near the reservoir towards Provo Canyon is one of my favorites. Don't hesitate to post more pics if you have some more from the Heber city direction. I have a niece who lives in Heber City and really need to go visit her (and take some new pics myself) Anyway, I'm glad to hear you had the chance to live near Timp, it is an awesome area.

Great page, Dean, nice work. I first saw Timpanogos on a ski trip to Utah in '81 and remember marveling at it's beauty.

Many thanks for the comments and the vote. My son just climbed this neat mountain again yesterday. I hope he took some pics of his "glacier slide"

Of course, I'd better say thank you, since this lady is my wife. Interestingly enough, she doesn't vote on every one of my pages, only the ones she likes and thinks are worth voting for. Ouch, she is my toughest critic. : )

It is a dominating mountain, kind of the Mt. Hood of Utah. Thanks for your comments and vote. Here's Bob Bolton's summit log entry

My smile says how much I enjoy this peak.. The summit is an enjoyable place but often pretty crowded on a good weather day. If you ever get to Utah, put this one and Mt. Nebo on your list.
