You were the couple our summit team met along the trail. I was one of the people warning against the swarms of mosquitoes at Elk Lake. It is too bad that you did not make the summit of Mount Olympus, but it sounds like you had a great adventure!
Thanks, Redwic. Congrats again on your team's summit. We did enjoy the view of the summit, Olympics, Cascades, etc. from Panic Peak and were quite happy with our accomplishment given our late start for the summit. Also, thanks for the tip about the campsite; we found it to be a PERFECT site and at the right time for our tired feet! By the way, nice article on the ladybugs - now can you explain the Rainier Worms?
