Fun TR

Thanks for sharing!

PS: Don't forget to include a Primary Image as a final touch.

Re: Fun TR

Thanks for the tip, Sarah! I've now added a primary image. (Took me a minute to figure it out after you mentioned it haha)

Re: I'm loving the movie...

Thanks, dood... glad you're enjoying! And thanks for the note as well. I figured out what I was doing wrong with the primary image thing. It should be working now.

Well Done....

Thanks for this trip report....just the cover photo alone makes a great front page for Summitpost. Happy Trails.

Re: Well Done....

Thanks for the comment, and glad you enjoyed it! The stats on the movie for yesterday and today show big spikes in traffic... did it really make the Summitpost home page? lol That's the only thing I can make of the stats.

What camera setup did you use?

Re: Camera gear

I just posted day 4 of the transcripts from my journal writings on the mountain (of which the above writings are the first three days).

http://climbhighsleeplow.blogspot.com

The new entry talks a lot about the decisions I made on the camera rig. The actual hardware was a Canon lightweight DSLR (Rebel T2i) with a 15-85mm ultrawide zoom, plus a compact point and shoot AA-powered A710is. The T2i shot the HD video, while the A710 shot the SD video.

The T2i was originally intended to go up the mountain, but mainly got used lower on the route before I cached it at Crosson base camp, and went with just the A710 on the ridge for both photos and video.

For more info, check out the blog. Thanks for watching!

To continue reading...

Day 4 of my blog picks up where the writings here left off, if you guys care to keep reading. And the Day 5 journal entry will be going up today, followed by the rest, with a new one every few days or so.
