Mt. Daniels east peak is the most often climbed peak of Mt. Daniels but the higher summit is the west peak. The spire is to the right. 10-5-03

brings back some great memories!

Dean,

this is a great shot from a wonderful mountain. Sure brings back some good memories - seems like ages ago that we climbed it (now that snow is falling outside)! Thanks for posting.

Waiting for summer...

Re: brings back some great memories!

Thanks Radek. It sure does bring back good memories, not only of our climb of Mt. Daniel but of one of the most unbelievable summers weatherwise in recent years. If 2004 is even half as good as 2003, it'll be great. We have 5 inches of snow on the ground here in Kennewick, the first snow to stick in several years.

Re: brings back some great memories!

Dean,

Also hoping for an early summer in '04 (or at least stable weather to move in ASAP :).

Actually, here in Portland we have about 1+ inches of snow on the ground already and it's still falling (and we're only at about 70-100 feet above sea level!).

Re: brings back some great memories!

I just heard on the weather channel that Seattle is going to get a fair amount of snow. Where are you in Seattle?

I am right here--about 2 miles north of downtown on Queen Anne Hill.
