Great Hike
Mt. Daniel is one of my all time favorite hikes. Although crowded, Peggy's Pond is a great place to spend a few nights. Sounds like you had great weather and a great time! Glad to hear that it was worth it after such a long drive.

Re: Mt DanielI guess it has been a warm summer. I never set foot on snow the whole hike and it was beautiful shirt sleeve weather the entire way.
