"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

Untitled CommentI might have a picture of the route, Mirror Lake or the summit itself. I have climbed to the top twice, once on the trail and once right up the face. Still, I can't remember if I took any pictures.

Untitled CommentGreat! Hope you can add the route that goes up the face. That would be great. When I climbed it, it was pretty cloudy and snowy so I did not get a good view but there appeared to be some neat cliffs as seen from Mirror Lake. Hope you can add the pictures.
I have read where the actual summit is supposed to be off limits for peregrine falcon nesting and have checked it out a bit and they are supposed to stay there year-round. Have you heard anything about that?
Let me know if there is anything I can add to the page to make it better. Thanks.

Untitled CommentAttempted this New Year's Day 2002 - miserable weather and very strong winds turned us around way below the summit though.

ShowshoesI'm looking to head up to the top this weekend. Do people recommend snowshoes for this hike in the winter or is it fine to go without?
