I'm planning my second trip into the Sand Lakes area this summer and was pleased to see the revamped Tijeras Peak page. Nice job, especially with the geological info. I hope to climb Tijeras, Music Mountain and check out the views from Milwaukee Pass. Thanks for the inspiration.

successful returnJust back. Got it this time. Very fun scramble. Followed it with a hike to Milwaukee Pass. Great two day combo from Lower Sand Creek Lake.
