Nice page. I can't believe it's possible to see Diablo from the top of this! That's great - I'll have to look for it next time I'm out there. The info on the true summit was nice for my first climb so as not to be disappointed ;-)
Thank you for the vote and nice comment. If you look at the contributors you can see I have had a great deal of help. But that is what summitpost is all about.
Excellent page! I will try climbing it this weekend using great route descriptions. Hopefully I will be posting a new summit log entry next week :). Keep up your good work!
I am thinking either West Ridge or Crescent Moon Couloir, depending on snow conditions and my ability. Do you know if I need crampons/ice axe for West Ridge route? I assume that I need snowshoes, but still deciding about other gear.
Thanks for all the information, though I didn't look at any of it until I didn my first climb on the peak, but it's fun to come back and double check the stats.

Untitled CommentI'm pretty sure it was Mount Diablo. Of course that was 20 years ago on an exceptionally clear day.

Untitled CommentVery nice page. You've put a lot of effort into it and I've enjoyed learning about another area I knew nothing about.

Re: Nice JobI'm glad you enjoyed the climb. I enjoyed your trip report. I remember having some of the same feelings when I first did the Crescent Moon.
