Im totaly stoked about this page. I was looking for side trip on our upcoming 50 miler (repeated route from 2002) and saw thise peak on the map. Now that I find it on summitpost, Im even more excited. Nice stuff.
Thanks! I'm doing a 50 miler myself in that area in Sept. We're going to hike from Leavitt Meadows to Toulumne Meadows. We'll pass right past Quartzite Peak. When and where are you going?

Going to make do with the southern Appalachians for another year or so. Then it's out west to hit some of those peaks.
