Uppermost NE Buttress

Uppermost NE Buttress

This is the uppermost part of the NE Buttress with White Tower above. There is a small bivy spot where we are standing. The first part up to the snowy alcove is class 4, but to the right it bumps up to easy class 5. The last hundred feet to the summit is class 3. July 6, 2002.

Old Link

Here's another old link. I hear your headed to Angeles tomorrow with my friend Craig. The last time I was there, I had an encounter with that pesky goat that eventually killed a man.

Re: Old Link

Thanks. I fixed (reuploaded the big image) and also fixed two other such images on the Goode page.

Planning an NEB ascent this summer?

I did not go to Mt. Angeles. I got the flu on Wednesday, which turned into a nice cold. The absolute worst weather window to get sick in!

Re: Old Link

You're telling me! I've been on bed rest for nearly a week. This dang bug is a real hanger-on. As far as the NEB goes, I sure hope so, but I need to find some willing partners first.
