Lakes on Granite Dome

Lakes on Granite Dome

View to the north from Granite Dome, August 16, 2003. From bottom to top; Ridge Lake, Iceland Lake and Relief Reservoir. Relief Reservoir is unusually green due to a massive mud slide 3 weeks earlier near Grouse Creek.

Re: Fantastic view

The Emigrant Wilderness Area is a backpacker, peak-bagger, and fisherman's paradise! There are tons of trout-filled lakes and great scenery, with mostly gentle, well-maintained trails. Hope you get a chance to see it!
