While ascending the east...

While ascending the east ridge, the final 200-ft present you with a few important decisions to make. The large snow slope towards the top is 35 degrees of unconsoladated snow topped off with a large cornice. We decided that it would be safer to drop down the mountain about 150-ft and cross a 10-ft section of snow and the climb back up the rocks on the other side of the slope.
