DespiteDespite the limited height (3.200 m) and the season (July) there is still a lot of snow and large glacier, is it normal or because it was in 1975...?

Re: DespiteThe snowpack and how long it stays in the spring / summer varies greatly from year to year in the Pacific Northwest depending on the winter weather conditions - el nino and all that.

The other photo was taken about 0.15 km to the west and lower on the mountain along the narrow east-west trending ridge that ends about where this photo was taken. (About here )
