Great!

Glad to see someone is putting some miles on this little peak. Reading Bob's description of your climbing, it looks like the N-S traverse made a great link-up between Tenaya Peak and Cathedral.

Anything "spicy" along this traverse? I've done a little bit of it, and it looked pretty exposed.

Re: Great!

This is a fun peak to scramble. We started out in approach shoes but switched to climbing shoes because the approach shoes weren't cuttin' it.

A lot of exposer with some nice spicy moves along a couple of fins that drop off on both sides. The little chimney on the north side of the summit pinnacle that you can see in the picture looks exposed, and it is, but there are plenty of holds deep in the cracks and one can pull right up it with ease.

Thanks, Sam

Re: Great!

If you have any detailed thoughts or hints about the traverse, you might think of adding them in a route page, or just posting them here. I (or the future page maintainer--hint, hint) should probably say at least something about the traverse.

In the end, though, I imagine there's not much to say. In the end, it's all "class 4". ;-)
