Re: Nice shot

Thanks kaner! This is definately my favorite shot of the trip. I was lucky to pull this one off since the sun quickly ducked behind some clouds allowing me only this one photo. Although it was cold in the morning, the view was a great incentive to get out of the sleeping bag :-)

Re: Outstanding !!!

Thanks Dean! I loved your Rainier trip report and photos. On our way to Rainier, we spent a night at the Whittaker Bunkhouse and I actually flipped through a copy of Ira Spring's "An Ice Axe, a Camera, and a Jar of Peanut Butter: A Photographer's Autobiography". By coincidence, the chapter I immediately flipped to happened to be "Girls! Girls! Girls!" ;-) I was especially impressed by the photo of Pat in short shorts doing a body rappel off of Pinnacle Peak! Very impressive. Sounds like you were in the company of some great climbers! Good luck on climbing the peak this year.

Breatheless

I'm Italian and I don't know Mount Rainier very well, but this picture is simply fantastic!

Well done.

Friendly.

Awesome Photo

I really love how the warmth of the sun is captured on the snow. The ambiance is great.

Re: beautiful

Hey Ali! - I read your TR on your Rainier climb this year. Congrats for heading up there. The mountain is beautiful and just looks huge. I'm glad you got to see a sunrise like the one Alexei and I saw this past March. It was a totally surreal feeling, as if we were on another planet. I just don't see sunrises like that enough! Sorry to hear your photos didn't turn out. If you want larger version of this to print off of, just let me know. Hope you get to climb it again :-)
