An outcropping at the base of the Pallisades, Copeland Mountain and the Indian Peaks beyond and due south. From here the 1500 foot ascent along the Pallisades begins. Summer 2000.

I call the large rock formation in your picture, "Tsunami Point" because it looks like a giant wave breaking on the beach. I started calling it by that name long before the tsunami disaster last year.

Thanks Jim. I'm flattered you would wade through my photos, which are certainly buried by thousands of redundant photos on the Long Peak page. I'll assume you found this photo via the Loft route page I wrote up years ago. Thanks for stopping by and noticing. I like your title for this rock.
