Overview

Pointe de Bellevue is a wonderful view point over the Rhone Valley, the Dents du Midi, the Chablais, the Pennine Alps...

Bellevue is the last summit of the French-Swiss Chablais chain in south-eastern direction, and is located direct over Monthey and the Rhone Valley, 1600 meters lover. The highest point of this chain is Cornettes de Bise

The smooth south face with alpine pastures dominates the Val d'Illiez and the lateral valley of Morgins.
The landscape is completely different on the north face : the summit splits up in two ridges and form the wild horseshoe cirque of Dreveneuse. On the eastern ridge, the secundary summit of Pointe de Dreveneuse (2009 m) is a nice target for climbers.
In Northwestern direction, the Culet doors separate Pointe de Bellevue from the next summits of Bec du Corbeau, 1992 m (Crow Beak), Cheval Blanc, 1793 m (White Horse), Morclan 1970 m, Pointe des Ombrieux and Tour de Don 1998 m.
