Scott -- The big pictures have probably been deleted from SummitPost because they were similar to other photos. I will replace them with photos currently in the database when I get home from NZ.
Also, there are two acceptable plural forms for volcano. Check the listing on dictionary.com
vol·ca·no n. pl. vol·ca·noes or vol·ca·nos
Being that I strive for efficiency in everything I do, I prefer the shorter plural form, minus the unnecessary "e". So it seems there's more than one famous mountaineer who spells it this way.
