I don't think that this attractive looking smaller peak deserves the description of "bleak shadow". All peaks have something good to offer in their own way - I would emphasize this rather than the fact that it sits among higher "prettier" peaks. That in itself could be a plus because of the view.
I guess I am saying accentuate the positive. There are lots of people out there who like to climb smaller peaks and times when even those who don't - do.
