Again an excellent and informative page. One suggestion, however: I guess there is more than one lookout mountain / peak around (I definitely have been on a lookout peak in Ca - Kings Canyon). Perhaps you could change the name to resemble that fact, like: Lookout Mountain / Colorado.
Otherwise us other SPers with Lookout summits to post can't do so properly :-))

Untitled CommentGood stuff. Love the picture of the summit block! I think a trip to Lookout and Horsetooth is in order.

Untitled CommentGood page with great images. If you don't get up in time to do Longs or Meeker, here is an interesting alternative.

Untitled CommentThanks for the vote, that's a great idea about an alternative to the giants.

Untitled CommentI give it 4 stars, assuming you will put up a route and a trip report, and perhaps a link to RMNP resources?

Untitled CommentThis one and Horsetooth look like fun warm-ups. I'll have to remember them. Great job.

Untitled CommentHard to tell how big the summit block is without a person in the pic to give referance.
Nice addition, I'd like to check it out myself someday.

Untitled CommentThanks for the vote Steven, Unfortunately I didn't have another person with me for reference, but that thing is about 15-20 feet high.

Re: Untitled CommentHere is a photo with a person (me) below the summit rock for scale. From a snowshoe my wife and I did last winter.

Untitled CommentExcellent Chris, looks like another fall, winter or spring option, close to town

Untitled CommentThanks Grant, either would make a great outing when the weather or time don't permit ascents of larger peaks.
