Shredder, You are right pictures would have been a plus. I freaking brought my digital, and forgot the little film card that goes in it. My partner had a regular camera and took some shots. I am waiting to see those then scan em and post em. Also, may climb chiwawa mt soon as it is quite close and take a picture back at Fortress. Should be a good shot. Cheers Lee
Shredder, good luck on your trip. I wonder what you are going to bag?? I am glad you are remembering your film as it is a drag to lug the camera up there and useless. Live and learn but always seem to forget one thing at least. Cheers lee
Shredder, you may be right about jinxed but a hoot to climb anyway's so go for it when you get the chance. Give me a shout next time and I wouldn't mind doing the southeast side route and a bit more technical. But still only up to class 3 and more snow travel though. While on the top we saw some climbers coming up that route. Cheers Lee
Oh Leejams, Good page. These, as well as your other photographs are simply Great!!! Your trip report helps folks realize all of what is involved in summitting this peak. Of course you leave us hungry for more pictures; an addition that is always welcome. You could improve this page perhaps, by adding a weather link or a book link....Thank you for taking the Time and Effort to share your Knowledge and Experience of the Peak. Now you've got us anxious to be the ones to take the summit register up there.....
