A very good page, especially for your first one. I really like the interesting history piece. Only a typo or two to clean up. Hopefully I will make it to this area someday.
It is great to see unnamed points to be posted. Maybe if more attention is drawn to them, they might be named by the USGS. Unfortunately, we can only hope.

Untitled CommentThe lat/long looks like it is approx 45.2514°N, 117.4125°W but I would check on topozone to be sure.
The web sites are good but they are more helpful when put in as active links. For example the Northwest Forest Pass can be found here.
This is described in the FAQ. It looks a lot better though ans thanks for posting. Ejnoy..

Elkhorn PeakHas anyone filed explored the ridge north-by-northwest from Elkhorn Peak? Possible to get from it to Maxwell Lake?
