While I was descending Quandary Peak after my first winter 14er ascent, this guy casually walked by, seemingly oblivious to the snow and wind and quite comfortable. November, 2006.

Thanks, Marc. I'm headed back out into the snow this weekend on Mt. Lady Washington. Maybe I will catch another goat!

Thanks, Tomek. That was definitely a "right place at the right time" moment. I'm headed back up Quandary next week. Maybe I'll run into him again!
