Freezing first CO 14er
First successful summit of the Rockies! 2nd 14er ever... -15F or so with wind chill... Very windy on the ridge, made everything exposed hurt until we became numb. Lots of snow to play in on the way down!!

Two-fer
Summited Sherman from Iowa Gulch after summiting Mt. Antero on a fair weather afternoon while everyone else was heading down. It was my 10th 14er summit achieved on 7 hikes during my 7 day stay in the area.

3rd Fourteener!
Went up the Fourmile route, and included Sheridan and Gemini. Perfect day to be out. On Sheridan and Gemini we had total solitude; Sherman was a total assembly line. It was still good, though, with amazing views in every direction.

Spring Ski
Had an interesting climb up and ski down Mount Sherman during the "spring" -- that said, there was blowing snow and zero visibility, so it felt more like winter.

From Iowa Gulch
Cloudy and windy all day, except the sun broke out just as we summited. Excellent views of Elbert, Massive, and the Sawatch Range. Decided to climb Sheridan when I got back to the saddle.
